The Real Streetfigter

Wow....

Those are people with lots of time on their hands.

A "WTF" Moment

I was in the Baldwin Hills Mall today (against my will) and I saw a 12 year old looking hispanic boy eating in Hometown Buffet with his family. Here's the thing though...

He had a cross tattooed on his forehead.

WTF?

A "WTF" Moment

Yesterday I saw a woman driving with her windshield wipers on full speed. Here's the thing though....

It wasn't raining.

WTF?

Chris Brown & Rihanna: Love In Trouble

They made this a television segment on MTV. The program consisted of the complete story of the allegations, and public opinion and experience with domestic violence.

WTF?

Blind Photographers?

Yes. Blind photographers. There's such thing.

Most that I've heard of take pictures of plants, usually in extreme close-ups.

Houses Made Of Bottles

A great form of recycling, isn't it?
I saw a story of a poor family in Bolivia who lived in a community of houses built in a river. Their houses were so cheaply made and torn up that their rooves leaked and they had no floors. When it rained, the houses would flood and leak. One day someone came along and told the single mother of that family, "I'm gonna build you a house of bottles. I don't know how, but I'm gonna do it." And they did, and the single mother of that family has never been happier. Now, their neighbors are inspired to start building their own bottle houses.
Why aren't their governments making more? It's not like it costs much to make a house made out of bottle and dirt and cement.
Another form of recycled housing, called Earthship, was invented by a man named Michael Reynolds. These houses are made from scraps like tires and bottles, and look better than most houses I've ever seen. He put solar panels on these Earthships and now each house is powered by 6, 400 pound batteries. He built an irrigation system for each house, where rain water is caught and filtered in the house. Now there's proof that you can live a great life without using any of the resources politicians seem to be complaining that we're using too much of nowadays.
Here's the best part.
No utility bills.
Awesome, right?
There are currently 1,000 Earthship communities.
Why aren't there more of these Earthships? Because people like YOU don't know about them.
Well there you go.....
GO BUILD A HOUSE!

Here's A Fun Fact

You know those martigras beads that you can buy for like between $1 and $20 here in America?

The women in the sweat shops that produce them in China work 15-16 hour days and only make 1 US cent for every 12 necklaces they make.

In other words, they make about .08% per necklace they make.

They aren't allowed to speak while they work, and they are allowed hardly any bathroom breaks.

The owners' justification is that it's not AS BAD as slavery.

They make, on average, $1.5 million a year.

haha.....
what's wrong with people?

Did You Know....

It's predicted that in 25 years, Tokyo's popluation is expected to drop 20%. Why is this?

Women aren't having babies anymore.

One reason is that many women in Tokyo today are finding themselves to still be single halfway into their 30s, unlike tradition.

Another reason is that people aren't having enough sex anymore. It's been estimated that couples in America have sex an average of 104 times a year. Guess what that number is in Tokyo.

It's like 28....

Imagine only having sex 28 times a year.
Exactly. You can't, right?

Some blame it on men working so hard that by the time they get home they're too tired for sex.

That's a new one.

They have "Host Clubs," where lonely and desperate women go to have conversation and drinks with what they find to be an attractive man. Here's how it works. They step inside and pick from a catalogue of men, men who's sole purpose at the club is to look attractive, converse, and drink with these women. They sit in a booth and the man comes along and the fun begins. The men pride themselves on how much money they can get these poor women to spend on drinks. Cool gig, right?

Have of those guys look like women.

Why don't you guys just go have sex? If not to reproduce, how about for fun and personal enjoyment. We'll understand. We know you have needs.

They're even starting to design robots that look like people and have the ablility to do most things that humans can. Sounds like iRobot coming true.

And to top it all off, their neighbors in China are restricted to having just one baby per couple. What's that all about?

And just for laughs, check out their sex ed dolls.

HAHA!!!!

I'm here to tell the truth.....

Did You Know....

The rose industry (yes, the rose industry, as in FLOWERS) can be compared to the diamond industry? Yes. The blood diamond industry.

There are sweat shops in Colombia filled with people, mostly women, making around $7/hour working 17 hour shifts around chemicals that cause health problems like heart disease and paralysis. For a woman even to be considered for a job there, they have to have their tubes tied.

Sit on that.

I Leanred Something New Today

Mild to moderate stress can be good for fetal development.

Sit on that.....

Leave Obama Alone!

Just let him work in peace.

He got this.....

13 Year Old Dad

Yep. This 8 year old looking 13 year old just had a baby by a 15 year old girl in the UK. Now people are going crazy with the story and plastering it everywhere. Yea, it's a shame, but the adult generation is acting like they don't know how young kids are starting to have sex these days. Hearing this story didn't suprise me at all. I shook my head and walked away because it's not the first time I've seen it.
Fact: The UK has the highest teenage pregnancy rate in Europe.
Maybe they should do something about that....

Octo-Mom

That's disgusting.
What would make anyone choose to give an unemployed mother of 6 the drugs to have 8 more kids? Now our tax dollars are going to support her ridiculously large family for research. How scandalous.
She's crazy, too.
And what's wrong with her face?

Dogg After Dark?

Seen it yet?
Yes, yet another Snoop Dogg television show. I thought it would have ended at Fatherhood. At least that one was decent. That first one, what was it called? Snoopy Dizzle Televizzle of something. That was truly trash. But I was suprised to find that the Fatherhood was decent. Then I was, once again, disappointed by Dogg After Dark. It's his version of a talk show, and I appreciate his swing at originality. However, it kinda sucked a little. I enjoyed the performances by Kid Cudi and Snoop and Pharell, though. Those were the best parts.

Don't get me wrong. I love Snoop. I'm a huge fan. But even your role models can disappoint you.

Battery Heated Wetsuit-WTF!!!!

The world's first battery heated wetsuit. WHat will they come up with next?
It retails for about $6700 in America. Who's gonna buy that? Someone who wants to surf the arctic maybe...
Hey.
Technology man......

Valentine's Day '09

Fuck that.

So I Went To This Party Last Night Right....

I didn't know the girls throwing it, but if you do tell them i said HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

The party was wack though...

The DJ did a poor job.  He played songs no one wanted to dance to, so half the time you could find the majority of the teenagers outside in the brisk cold conversing amongst one another.  When a good song would come on, everyone would crowd into the very small room only to find that there was no room to dance anyways.
Although the party wasn't very satisfying and was a clear waste of $5, I enjoyed my night for other reasons.  I ate a double-double from In 'N' Out, and laughed with friends.  That was much more enjoyable.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

M.I.A.: What Were You Thinking?

I have no idea what that was about. I'm quite confused. I was also disappointed to see that she has horrific stage presence. She looks too mush like a grandma on stage. Her rythm is a mystery, he gestures are retarded... I don't know what they see in her....

Kanye: Cut Your Hair Please!

Not a good look my boy...
I was lucky enough to see this rehersal as well, and I was suprised to see how well it turned out with such little space to perform on. He and Estelle were good, but the hair dude.....
Too distracting.

Katy Perry's Performance At The Grammys

I saw the Grammy rehersals, so I know how her performance was SUPPOSED to go. It wasn't quite the same when she performed it, and it sucked anyways. What a way to perform for your first time at the Grammys. It was ridiculous. She should probably get into better shape because she was out of breath the whole time. The acting and stage presence was horrible. She just looked tired, like she had no energy. I wanted to give her some orange juice just show she could show some sincerity in her acting. The background dancers shined more than she did, and I have to say that I'm very disappointed inhow this performance turned out.
And the fruit idea was ridiculous. That's one thing I can agree with her on.

Justin Timberlake's Clothing Line-William Rast

So it seems Justin Timberlake has started a clothing line with Trace Ayala.  From the looks of it, the theme behind it is this sort of Bonnie and Clyde deal, with the male and female criminals on the run type vibe.  Well at least that's what I picked up from the ad campaigns.  They model their own clothes! How cool...

I read that they got the name by combining the names of each of their grandfathers.  Original...
They're doing this thing where they make a bunch of web clips, as if William Rast were a movie to soon be released.  VERY original...

I checked out some of the clothes online.  The womens' clothes are a no for me, but the mens' clothing? THUMBS UP.  Kudos, Justin.
