Obama vs. McCain
If I could vote, I'd vote for Barack [known to me as Barama] and let me tell you why.
Barama is against the war. McCain is for the war. I'm more of a peaceful person myself, so of course I'm against the war. I still can't figure out why anyone would be for the war. Veterans are going crazy, and many don't even make it to being called a veteran. All that's going on is killing. Since when was death a good thing? Someone has the power to stop this. I know the president can. One thing I still don't get is how a former prisoner of war could possibly be in favor of the torture he endured. People are strange.....
Barama is down-to-earth, charismatic, and civilized, and so is his wife. He's so smart with every move he makes. The first thing he did, which was brilliant, was he wrote a book about all the dirt he did in Chicago. Now when all these reporters and McCain lovers try to bring up dirt on him he can say "I told them first." Another example of his brilliance and nonchalant moves was his response to the magazine cover illustrating he and his wife with turbans and guns burning the American flag in the fireplace. If I'm not mistaken, he responded by saying that while he and his wife were offended, it's the Muslims that should be offended and who deserve the apology. BARAMA: 2, MCCAIN: 0.
Barama is brilliant. He and his wife graduated at the top of their law classes. That is one smart family. People have the nerve to say they won't vote for him for lack of experience. I say he's a brilliant man, and definitely qualified to be the next president. Besides, McCain is how old? 70-something? His face looks like it's ready to fall off and he looks like he's about to tip over and not get up. He'll probably die within the next 4 years. Sorry to those that love the guy, but be realistic. I'm sure those years of torture he went through back in his day have done their damage. I don't think he's totally sane.
Most people turn the presidetial race into a race between the presidents wives, and most of the nominees' wives become characterized by their husbands. The first time I saw Barama on TV, they were interviewing him on the news and they asked him something about his wife's various projects to make the world a better place. His response was "You'll have to ask her." I just thought that was so cool of him. He claimed that he and his wife work on their projects seperately and that she's independent enough to handle her projects and interviews herself. I love her independence. She's the role-model type. I have yet to hear anything about Mrs. McCain. Everytime I see her, she's holding hands with her husband at a press conference and waving to the crowd. How's that for independence?
To sum it up, Barama's awesome. He gets my vote.
hello! my name is sydney
i just realized i never introduced myself.....
im sydney. i was born and raised in los angeles. i love art and creativity. i play drums, piano and guitar. i make beats every now and again. i produce out of my bedroom, where my studio is set up. i love music. i love meeting new people, especially musicians. i dont care what you play or if you sing, rap, write or produce. i'd just love to meet you and talk about music. i love working with new people.
here's some things i never really addressed:
i feel more comfortable around boys than i do around girls. that seems to be my comfort zone, so if you know me and you ever wondered why im always with guys, no, im not gay, i just can be myself more around boys i guess. i grew up surrounded by guys, in my neighborhood, in my family... i used to be a tom-boy. i played basketball. i can relate. and they can too. girls come with a lot of drama usually. im not with all that. i'm pretty simple, easy to please me, just like to chill. i do like boys [dont get confused] lol.
i dont wear too much jewelry. same necklace everyday. hear no evil, breast cancer awareness. same little thingys around my wrist everyday. you never know when youll need a hair tie. but i love clothes. love to experiment with what i wear and new styles that come to mind. love shopping at thrift stores. thats where you find the best stuff. and if you like to customize clothes thrift shops are perfect because everythings cheap so if you mess up you wont feel too bad. i love shopping. love trying on new looks that i never seen myself wearing. so if you see me in a buncha different kinds of styles, its because im indecisive and i cant pick which style is right for me. i pick them all. my socks rarely match. not a statement, just laziness. don't like looking for matches. my grandmother doesnt think i should go out in public with my socks not matching. i just say "ehhh...."
i hate cleaning my room. i'll sweep or clean windows and dust any other part of the house all day, but not my room. i always have people in my room. thats where the studio is. it's usually pretty messy in here. my mom says "how can you have people in here with it looking like this? do you just not care?" i just dont care. i understand where she's coming from. but im sure the people that come in here know me well enough to understand where im coming from as well. i dont like cleaning my room.
i hate when someone is on someone elses nuts. especially when its a group of people who just think someone is sooo cooool. i know you guys know what im talking about. usually they arent all that great. no hate involved. sometimes they are pretty cool. but you still should get off of their nuts and be who you are. some people fall so deeply in love with someones style they make it their own. if your true self is a nut-rider, then all power to you. be yourself. but if youre just trying to run from who you really are to be "cool" because you know the true you isnt, get it together.
people annoy me very easily. usually its when someone is doing too much or trying to hard or being fake. sometimes people are just plain irritating. but i seem to always find something about someone that annoys me. my best friend thinks its a problem. so while i love to meet new people, usually something about them annoys me. but i find a handful thats cool and those are the people i surround myself with.
oh dear. im rambling. i guess i'll add more another time.

Cliques vs. Cliques
how stupid does that sound?
i was never a clique person myself. one because i'm pretty awesome by msyelf, and two because the drama involved in cliques is pretty dumb and i happen to be friends with a lotta people from a whole buncha different cliques. i refuse to burn bridges over some bitch shit. all the problems and beefs that arise over "misunderstandings" and conflicts between people are pointless. you get into an irrelevant argument with someone from another clique, then the rest of your clique doesnt like that person, then the rest of their clique doesnt like you, then theres too beefing cliques? then if you arent in a clique people from one clique try to [lowball] get you on their side. and that's from personal experience. c'mon dude. UNNECESSARY. some people seem to just need excitement in their lives, so they purposely disrespect someone to have something to look forward to the next day. why? you always think someones cool til they start some shit...... so sad how these cliques are labeling and separating people.
and that's why i'm not in one and never will be.
[and no, Charlez isn't a clique]

N.E.R.D.- "Seeing Sounds"
Great.
N.E.R.D. is the type of music you have to get used to. But once you do, you can't get over it. I know the first song I heard by them was "Am I High". I was like "uhhhh okay I guess." Today, that's one of my favorite songs on earth.
The was money well spent. Nowadays I only buy a CD if the artist deserves the money. They do, so I bought it. Its one of those CDs you can pop in and you don't have to touch anything until it's over lol you know you don't have to be picky and switching between songs because you don't like number 3, 7, and 9. If you're a fan of this kind of music, I can almost gurantee you'll like every song.
I don't know about all you non-musicians out there, but I do know that the musicians can agree with me on this: the title of the album is perfect. I know it may be different for everyone, but when I close my eyes listening to music I see colors and tye-dye and shapes and scenarios and swirls.
Well anyways, I just thught I'd give Pharrell, Chad, and Shae some credit for this one.
JOB WELL DONE.
Madonna- "Hard Candy"
CD's awesome yo.
I just got it in the mail today. There's not really any CD players in my house, so I went out to the car and popped it in and I didn't leave until it was over. Not for discipline, but because it's that extravagant. Yes, EXTRAVAGANT. Listen to this CD and honestly tell me you don't like it. If you can, hey, kudos. But it's hard to do lol.
I only buy CDs that are worth my money. And, well, I bought this one. There you go.
GO BUY IT! She, The Neptunes, and Timbaland deserve the money.

Watch out for this guy.....
Charlezzz is the best Los Angeles has to offer right now when it comes to hip hop artists. And you can never really understand exactly what I mean until you hear him in person. But check out his myspace anyways....
